Our Annual Fund Campaign Letter to the NGA Family:

It’s an exciting time of the year!! It is time for our Second Annual Fund Campaign. Whether you are an NGA Parent, Grandparent, Alumnus, Staff Member or Supporter, Nathanael Greene Academy holds a very special place in your heart. As everyone is well aware, tuition never covers 100% of the cost of operating any private school. It takes fundraisers and donations to assist private schools in operating throughout the school year. Last year, your donations were overwhelming!

NGA continues to need your support to assist in meeting normal operating expenses – expenses such as utilities, payroll and other recurring items. NGA has been operating for over 40 years, and for the first time in several years, Nathanael Greene Academy began the school year with a balanced budget. But to maintain this balanced budget, we must continue to have our annual fund drives and numerous fundraisers.

 The school offers opportunities for students that they cannot receive at other educational institutions. NGA has daily devotionals, recites the Lord’s Prayer and monthly assemblies (some including chapel) for all students. We provide a very safe and nurturing family-oriented environment for our students, and we will continue to do so. NGA provides a quality education, and our students have the opportunity to continue their education at the college or university of their choice.

 Through your support of the 2011-2012 Annual Fund Campaign, we can continue to provide the exemplary learning opportunities for our students.  We ask that you consider the suggested giving levels on the next page and that you find it in your heart to continue to support the legacy of your school. Our goal this year is $150,000. We received over $80,000 last year. Please return the form and mail it and your donation to the school today.

 Parents receiving this letter are asked to complete the enclosed form and return it to the school by January 30, 2012 so that we can plan for next year’s staffing. January and February are the months when all schools plan for the next year. Just like last year, you will notice that there is an incentive to parents for bringing new families to the school. This will also be extended to teachers and supporters. Non-parent supporters who recommend new students that enroll will receive a NGA tax donation card.
